expected to learn about the topic before the class.
a. Coming into class today I assumed we would be discussing Quality
Improvement. I thought we may discuss evaluating services provided by our employees and the
results achieved as compared with accepted standards. I thought we may take
into account cost, accessibility, treatment, and benefits of other agencies
compared to our own.

What you actually learned
from the unit.
a. Today was really just a discussion day. Which I LOVED. We talked about the cost vs benefit of
graduate school. We discussed travel
nursing, and employee benefits of that vs different jobs such as teaching at a
university. Great lecture.
3.
How you will utilize the
information learned in your nursing practice.
a. For me, graduate school is ON THE BRAIN. This was a really good way to sort out if it
is really something I want to do, and if I want to do it now….or later.
4. Your personal feelings about the material covered.
a.
I loved it. This is really what I need to hear at this
point in my education and life really.
It gave me time to consider my family circumstance, job opportunities
now as opposed to what they can be. It
was a good class.
